External Grants

External Grants are grants that require funding from an outside source and not from our DAO treasury. The Governance Committee (Core Team and Stewards) still reviews external grants to ensure the grant fits our DAO ethos and successfully utilizes our COLORSxCOMMUNITY brand.

Compensation Structure for External Grants

• 10% of the grant funding goes toward the contributor or team that successfully confirms the grant. If the grant is more than or equal to 100K the commission drops down to 5%.
• 10% of the grant funding goes towards the COLORSxCOMMUNITY treasury.
• The remaining 80% (or 85% respectively) of the grant funding is used to execute the project and pay out contributors that work directly on the project.
